Learning Outcomes and Application | This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to extend own expertise in a specialised art form in order to develop a cohesive body of professional work for the public domain. It involves self-directed research and the independent, highly developed use of specialised materials, processes and techniques.It applies to individuals who work as creative practitioners, producing a professional standard of work that demonstrates a mature engagement with their chosen art form. The unit may be applied to any art form.No licensing, legislative or certification conditions apply to this unit at the time of publication. | ||
Duration and Setting | X weeks, nominally xx hours, delivered in a classroom/online/blended learning setting. Assessment must be conducted in a safe environment where evidence gathered demonstrates consistent performance of typical activities experienced in creative arts industry environments. The assessment environment must include access to: suitable work space tools, equipment and materials for the production of work. Assessors of this unit must satisfy the requirements for assessors in applicable vocational educational and training legislation, frameworks and/or standards. |
